ABILENE, Texas (BP)--Could this be the year of the Cowboy? One national publication thinks so.

Street and Smith has ranked Hardin-Simmons No. 1 in NCAA Division III in its preseason football magazine. It makes two national publications that have picked the Cowboys in the top 3 to begin the season.
